Clock stops after several minutes

Help!!!! My Nonus clock (woodentimes.com) stops working after several minutes. Through thourough investigation though, I found that the pendulum pivot points had become blunt. That took me a while to think of this possibility. I had disassembled the clock already several times but could not find the issue at first. So, I sharpened the points again and now it's ticking time away as before.
Few days later:
I have now replaced the pivot points with 12.9 grade carbon steel which is much harder than the delivered M3 threaded steel rod. So, this should last longer. We'll see....
