The Octavus is a combination of 2 of my bigger passions, cooking and clocks.
A kitchen timer with a range of up to 60 minutes.
It has a self starting verge escapement, and setting the time also winds the timer.
The Octavus first starts ticking when the chime is primed, so no chance of the timer running without it´s alarm, so no burnt cakes!
