NONUS
 Pendulum wall clock
  The Nonus does not have an escapement but rather uses a count wheel to trigger a drop weight which impulses the pendulum once every 60 seconds.

  The Nonus is available in 2 versions, 4 days and 8 days runtime.


   The Nonus requires a drive weight which is not included but I do offer 2 kinds of weight shell.

8 Day version

Drive   -  4 Kg  Weight

Runtime  -  8 Days


4 Day version

Drive   -  2 Kg  Weight

Runtime  -  4 Days
   Firstly the major difference between both versions is that the 8-Day runs twice as long as the 4-Day, bit obvious really. To realize this, the 8-Day drive weight has a pulley, which effectively doubles the drive string length and therefore the runtime, this also means that the weight increases from 2 Kg to 4 Kg.

  Both versions are wound by pulling on the winding string, as with a cuckoo clock, the 4-Day has both the drive weight and the winding string on the same arbor. The 8-Day has a separate winding barrel (as indicated by blue arrow), which makes winding quicker and also provides a hanging point for the drive weight string.

   A weight shell for lead shot filling, the brass tube has a non-finished surface but can soon be polished or wire brushed.
